Who we are

The law we follow

We process personal data in accordance with the data protection law of Gibraltar, the Gibraltar GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2004, read together. The supervisory authority is the Gibraltar Regulatory Authority (GRA), acting as Information Commissioner.

What we collect

Information you give us

When you use our enquiry form, we collect your name, work email address, your organisation (if provided), the nature of your enquiry, and the message you send. If you contact us by email or telephone, we hold whatever you choose to share.

Information collected automatically

Our website host keeps standard server logs, such as IP address, browser type, the pages requested and timestamps, to keep the site secure and running. This website sets no tracking, analytics or marketing cookies and makes no third-party requests: fonts are served from our own server, and the enquiry form is submitted to our own server. See our Cookie Notice.

Why we use it, and our lawful basis

  • To respond to your enquiry and provide the information or services you ask for, our legitimate interests, and where relevant taking steps at your request before entering a contract.
  • To keep the website secure and working: our legitimate interests.
  • To deliver our services where you are or become a client, and to meet our own legal and regulatory obligations, performance of a contract and legal obligation.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with service providers who help us operate, for example our email/SMTP provider and our website host, who act on our instructions. We may disclose personal data where we are required to by law.

International transfers

Some of our providers may process data outside Gibraltar. Where that happens, we rely on appropriate safeguards for the transfer. Your adviser should confirm the specific providers and safeguards that apply to you.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry correspondence only for as long as we need it to deal with your enquiry and for a reasonable period afterwards, then delete it. Where you become a client, we keep records for the duration of our relationship and for as long as the law requires.

Your rights

Under the Gibraltar GDPR you have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you.
  • Rectify inaccurate or incomplete data.
  • Erase your data in certain circumstances.
  • Restrict or object to our processing.
  • Data portability where it applies.
  • Withdraw consent at any time, where we rely on consent.

To exercise any of these, email info@priviness.gi. We will respond within the time the law allows.

Complaints

If you are unhappy with how we handle your personal data, please tell us first so we can put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Gibraltar Regulatory Authority (GRA), the supervisory authority for data protection in Gibraltar (gra.gi).

Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against loss, misuse and unauthorised access, including HTTPS across the whole site and authenticated delivery of form submissions.
