We use no non-essential cookies
This website does not set any cookies for tracking, analytics or marketing, and it makes no third-party requests. Fonts are served from our own server rather than a font network, and the enquiry form is submitted to our own server. Nothing on the site profiles you or shares your activity with anyone else.
The rules that apply
In Gibraltar, cookies and other tracking technologies are governed by the Communications (Personal Data and Privacy) Regulations 2006 (the “Privacy Regs”), which give effect to the EU ePrivacy Directive. The Privacy Regs complement, rather than duplicate, data protection law: the Gibraltar GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2004 supply the meaning of ‘consent’ and apply where cookies involve personal data. The Gibraltar Regulatory Authority sets out how the three fit together in its guidance note GN28 on Cookies.
The Privacy Regs require that you are informed about cookies and given a choice about non-essential ones. Cookies that fall within the exemptions in Regulation 5(4), broadly those strictly necessary to provide a service you have asked for, do not require consent. Because this website sets no cookies at all, there is nothing to consent to and a consent banner is not required. We show a short, honest notice instead, so you know where you stand and can find this page.
Your dismissal preference
When you dismiss that notice, we remember your choice using your browser’s local storage: a single value kept on your own device. It is not a cookie, it is never sent to us, and it does not track you or profile you in any way.
To be precise about it: the Privacy Regs cover the storing of, or access to, any information on your device, not only cookies. This value is stored solely to honour a choice you made, so it is strictly necessary for that purpose and needs no consent. You can clear it at any time by clearing your browser data.
If this ever changes
If we later add analytics or marketing cookies, we will introduce a proper consent tool that asks for your permission first, and we will update this notice to explain what each cookie does and how to control it.
